Meet the Liberty Quest Team

I have been in education and counseling combined for over a decade. I have worked with children, teens, and adults in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, blended-families, divorce, grief, self & emotion-regulation, social skills, and self-esteem. I am EMDR-trained and have experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Trauma Informed Therapy. I believe in utilizing the approach that best suites the needs of my client. I enjoy working with individuals (ages 8 years and older), couples, and families on their journeys towards healing.

Kristy Moore

IN Loving Memory

03/17/1979 - 01/12/2022

Liberty Quest Counseling began as a vision of Kristy Kay White Moore. As a supervisor, mentor, and friend Kristy inspired and enriched the personal and professional lives of the therapists at LQC. She was the epitome of empowering others- whether clients, family, or friends. While she is no longer with us today, the foundation of LQC is rooted in the work Kristy started through continuing to help others on their journeys to find freedom and hope.

I was in the corporate world for a number of years, and I left that to pursue my passion of helping people through therapy. I work with teens and adults in areas including grief, trauma, substance abuse, anger management, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I am EMDR-trained and use a variety of techniques from multiple counseling theories including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Trauma Informed Therapy. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to therapy and customize my techniques based on the situation and the goals of the client I am working with. I enjoy working with individuals aged 12 and older.
