Liberty Quest Counseling began as a vision of Kristy Kay White Moore. As a supervisor, mentor, and friend Kristy inspired and enriched the personal and professional lives of the therapists at LQC. She was the epitome of empowering others- whether clients, family, or friends. While she is no longer with us today, the foundation of LQC is rooted in the work Kristy started through continuing to help others on their journeys to find freedom and hope.

I began my career as a massage therapist, where I learned that physical tension is often deeply connected to emotional stress. That realization inspired me to move into mental health counseling. Today, I take an integrative, holistic approach to supporting my clients, helping them feel understood, supported and empowered to heal and grow. I utilize a variety or therapy modalities; Person Centered, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Play Therapy. I am trained in ETT as a Complex Trauma Therapist. Emotional Transformation Therapy utilizes eye movement, combined with color and light to access and absolve trauma. I have had great results with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and dissociation. I see all adults, teens and children 8+. I am looking forward to helping you on your healing journey!

I support adolescents and adults in making sense of the experiences that shaped them—past or present—and understanding how those experiences influence their current patterns, relationships, and coping. My work includes helping young people navigating a parent’s illness and adults processing the lingering impact of earlier difficult or overwhelming moments. Using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive and dialectical behavioral strategies, parts work, and relational insight, I aim to create a grounded and supportive space where your internal world feels understood. Together, we’ll honor your culture, identity, and personal values as you tell your story, untangle barriers, and move toward meaningful healing. Let’s take the first step together!

Julie Pagenkopf, LPC
I was in the corporate world for a number of years, and I left that to pursue my passion of helping people through therapy. I work with teens and adults in areas including grief, trauma, substance abuse, anger management, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I am EMDR-trained and use a variety of techniques from multiple counseling theories including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Trauma Informed Therapy. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to therapy and customize my techniques based on the situation and the goals of the client I am working with. I enjoy working with individuals aged 12 and older.
